Vitamin B6 P-5-P + Pyridoxine is a dietary supplement provided in capsules containing Vitamin B6 in two forms: Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P-5-P) and Pyridoxine. Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble substance, also known as Pyridoxine.

Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine:

contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity (it is an essential cofactor in the metabolism of fatty acids),

The most biologically active form of Vitamin B6 is Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate. It is a coenzyme for over 100 enzymes responsible for all body activities, making B6 one of the most ‘hardworking’ B vitamins. Vitamin B6 is involved in the metabolism of amino acids and also plays an essential role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine and GABA, and in the metabolism of liver enzymes (AST, ALT). Vitamin B6 also contributes to the production of other vitamins, including niacin from tryptophan.

Suggested use	Take 1 capsule daily. Recommended intake: take Vitamin B6 during or after a meal by 4 p.m. at the latest. Do not exceed suggested use. Properities	Capsule size: 4 (14 mm in length). Organoleptic properties: powder with a slightly bitter aftertaste when taken out of the capsule. It takes on an intense yellow colour when taken out of the capsule.
Tests	Batch tests performed towards: Microbiology: the presence of listeria, staphylococcus, Escherichia coli and coli groups, salmonella, total microbial count, heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury), ethylene oxide and 2-chloroethanol, gluten content.
